Travel Policy

Local Travel
Travel within 25 miles of Lisbon Road and Calhoun Road in Brookfield, WI is included at no additional mileage charge.

​

Extended Travel
For sessions beyond this 25-mile radius, a travel fee of $0.50 per mile (round trip) will be added to your invoice.

​

Long-Distance Travel
If your event is located more than 65 miles one way, a hotel stay is required either the night before or the night after the event.

​

Air Travel
For events requiring air travel, all flight and accommodation costs must be covered for both the photographer and an assistant. A minimum 4-night stay is required.

Location-Specific Permit Information​

Milwaukee County Parks
All Milwaukee County Parks require a photography permit, typically costing around $70 for one hour, with additional fees for longer sessions. This fee will be billed directly to the client if a Milwaukee County location is requested. Jeane will handle obtaining the permit, and 100% of the fee goes to the county—Jeane does not receive compensation beyond standard session pricing. All permit costs will be discussed and agreed upon prior to billing.

Waukesha County Parks
Sessions at Waukesha County Parks or outdoors at Portraits by Jeane’s beautiful studio are encouraged. Waukesha County offers a more photographer-friendly policy and supports local park maintenance. Some parks may require a vehicle entrance fee. If a Waukesha County Park is selected, clients are only responsible for their own vehicle(s)—photographer entry is covered.
