Extended family portrait sessions are designed with care and intention, allowing space for both timeless group portraits and smaller, meaningful connections within the family. These sessions are ideal for celebrating milestones, honoring family legacies, or simply preserving a moment when everyone can finally gather.
Because larger groups require thoughtful pacing and planning, extended family sessions are approached as a custom experience — ensuring the process feels calm, organized, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
What to Expect
Thoughtfully Chosen Locations
Most extended family sessions take place outdoors at a pre-selected location that allows room to comfortably photograph larger groups. Indoor sessions may be available by request and are arranged in advance to ensure the space suits the size and flow of your group. Travel outside the immediate area may include a mileage fee.
Comprehensive Proofing & Sharing
You’ll receive access to a proofing gallery that includes the strongest images from your session. Digital files and print credits included in your selected experience may be shared among participating families, making it easy to coordinate artwork and keepsakes.
Session Planning & Timing
Extended family sessions are scheduled based on group size and the combinations you’d like captured. If additional time is needed to properly photograph everyone, I’ll be in touch ahead of your session to adjust plans accordingly.
